AQUAstar ® SBR W.W.T.S.The AQUAstar Sewage Treatment system is a simple Sequential Batch Reactor (S.B.R.) designed specifically for the treatment of Irish domestic wastewater. Pollutants from the wastewater are absorbed by the activated sludge and converted into biomass. The micro-organisms are activated by the oxygen intake during the aeration period. This process will give maximum breakdown of the raw sewage, whilst at the same time ensuring a highly efficient operation. A low electrical power consumption is vital, given today's high energy costs and 'green' awareness. How it worksThe process employs a 4-stage cycle: fill, react, settle and empty. Approximately 8-hours after commencement, the cycle comes to an end and another cycle commences. The S.B.R. process is time-based rather than flow-based, so there is much more control of the treatment process.

InstallationThe AQUAstar Sewage Treatment Plant is supplied to the end user as a 'Plug & Play' package. The plant is fully tested and commissioned before it leaves the Carlow Precast factory. We supply and install our systems, on every site, using experienced technical staff. The system is delivered on a platform-bodied truck with rear mounted articulating crane and placed in it's final position in the excavation by the driver. This will give the customer, peace of mind, that once it's in place - it will stay in place!
