Sand Polishing Filters

Our Engineering Department can make design recommendations for a specific Polishing Filter to coincide with the flow from any of the AQUAstar Sewage Treatment range. The AQUAstar System is based on the number of bedrooms in each domestic house, in accordance with the new EPA Code of Practice.

Intermittent Sand Polishing Filters

For difficult sites, like impermeable soil, high bedrock etc. we can offer our unique prefabricated Intermittent Sand Polishing Filter Pods.

Taking the flow from the AQUAstar Treatment Plant, these Filter Pods will reduce the footprint area for the percolation, as well as improving the effluent standard. The Filter Pods can be delivered pre-loaded with the correct layers of sand, pea gravel and geotextile as outlined in EPA Code of Practice. We will not only design, deliver and install the Pods but, through our Engineering Department, we are one of the few sewage treatment companies to certify these Filter PODS.
